    Let me start off by saying that i was very impressed by these mics. I was playing at a show which we had 15 minutes to set up and have sound check and i was worried about micing my toms but this micing system is very convenient, the sound man just slapped them on to my toms and i was all mic'd up after about 30 seconds! Secondly these mics really let my toms sing, they projected and i received several comments later thanks to these mics. I highly recommend this fir any gigs but i cant give you an opinion about recording because i didn't use the microphones for this. For a live sound 5 out of 5.

    There may be better sounding mics out there but you'll pay extra for them. This is a durable, well designed, full featured mic for a reasonable price.
