The Seagull Coastline Series Grand Parlour QI is an acoustic-electric guitar that's great fun to play. The Coastline Grand Parlour produces a surprisingly big sound. Using computer modeling to optimize the internal bracing and soundhole design, this Seagull guitar represents an intriguing mix of old and new. The Coastline Grand is beautifully complemented with the addition of the optional Quantum I EQ system.
Seagull Coastline guitars are outstanding values. The back and sides of Coastline series guitars are made from a 3-layer lamination of wild cherry wood. With a sound that lands somewhere between the mellow tone of a mahogany guitar and the bright sound of maple, wild cherry has proven itself to be an excellent tone wood. Grown locally, wild cherry is also an ecologically friendly choice for guitar construction. Coastline series guitars feature very smooth necks made from silver leaf maple.
The Godin EPM Quantum I electronics system is simple in design and outstanding in performance. This single source system features an exceptionally responsive saddle transducer carefully matched to side mount electronics with rotary volume, bass, and treble controls. The electronics and controls are packaged in a small and easy to use format complemented with a finely crafted pewter cover plate. In combination with the transducer, the EQ control range and frequency content have been specifically contoured to provide a very rich and full sound reproduction resulting in performance seen only in far more complex systems.

Comments about Seagull Coastline Series Grand Parlour QI Acoustic-Electric Guitar:
Just an amazing little guitar. This things has an amazing sound and packs a big punch (is louder then a few dreadnoughts out there) I have always been a fan of godin guitars (godin owns seagull along with a few other companies) because i love the feel of the body and the neck. Seagulls have very thing necks so you can move your hang around very easily . I am also amazed with the neck and head. The guitar stays in tune for awhile (record for mine is a week and that is playing for a few hours a week) If you buy this guitar you will be amazed. Bottom line is Canadians make great guitars
