Gorgeous domestic wild cherry back and sides provide a unique tone blending the warmth of mahogany with the crisp definition of maple. Silverleaf maple neck on a shorter 24.84" scale with a rosewood fretboard is easy on the fingers while specially aligned machine heads make for quick, stable tuning.
From the moment I first strummed it I was blown away. Loud but balanced, amazing acoustic. A few minutes with it in the store, and I was hooked. Bought it, took it home, and have not regretted the purchase for one second. It does not have a heavy lacquer finish, so it does not physically shine like most acoustics, but it's sound blows them away.
First things first. This is a awesome guitar! This guitar sounds beautiful. It is worth every penny. Its a lot nicer than any other guitar I saw. Your hand can slide on the neck with ease. The guitar is the perfect weight. If you haven't bought this guitar. BUY IT!
There is a dubious relationship between price and sound. You are NOT guaranteed to a perfect tradeoff between what you pay and what you get. Of course this guitar is NOT a D series Martin. But for the price, it cannot be beat. Nice, smooth, neck. Good fit and finish. Beat other guitars in this price range hands down. Wonderful travel guitar. If it gets lost or smashed, you are not in a decline for month. My luthier tune it up, and put some Martin SP medium gauge strings on it. A very nice, economy, guitar that will provide years of service. Pleasant to play and hear. Good bar chord control up and down the neck. Pretty narrow at the top. Great for big hands with short fingers or weak grips. Completely satisfied at this price point. Fun to play and not an irritating, rattling instrument. Hey parents, this is a GREAT xmas present, a wonderful learning guitar.
