    I bought this Coastline S6 Dreadnaught guitar after a couple of strums! I wanted an inexpensive outside campfire guitar to save my Martins from harm. After trying out two laminates and sending them back, they sounded like plywood, I searched every evening on the web for videos to get sound reviews. Finally walking into a store I tried this one and found the match in quality and sound against the Martins. Something about the cedar top and cherry gives this one mild lows and excellant mids. The satin finish and light coating on the top must be the key to producing the sound and long sustain from this laminate side and back guitar. Don't be fooled by the fancy poly-coatings on those other cheap guitars! I think this guitar is overlooked by too many people. Put some new coated strings on it before making up your mind, you won't be sorry!

    This seagull is great for most acoustic music. Playing rhythm guitar with it is very nice. The only music the guitar is not for is the blues. It has more of a classical ring to it.

    These Seagulls caught me by surprise. A buddy of mine picked one up a few months back, and what stood out to me (aside from the crisp tones) was the warm feel of the guitar, kind of along the lines of that Martin you've been playing in-store for the last year. A great value for a really clean sound.
