  • Flamenco Guitar Method, volume 1

As reviewed by Edward Hancock on 3/24/2010

I think this is an excellent book for people who are familiar with classical guitar and wish to try flamenco. Although the translator on the DVD sounds like a machine, the techiniques are explained effecitively & there is an option for slow or normal paced instruction. With that said, this isn't really a book for beginners. I assumes you already know legado techiniques for one. It also assumes that he reader is familiar with proper left hand posture. In short, for a student new to the guitar or a student new to flamenco, this book by itself will not be sufficient. However, anyone interested in flamenco should add this to their library because it is one of the better flamenco instructional books
