Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Ultracure Robert Smith Signature Model Electric Guitar:

have had my ultracure now for almost 4 years and it still rocks... check me out playing it on youtube at crossfirewarriors love my guitar and it is the best for the money i've ever played... intonation is superb and the guitar has held up under all kinds of adverse playing conditions...you won't be throwing it around your neck, but it flat out rocks... i give it a 10... highly recommend it... funny, i had never heard of the cure till after i bought robert's guitar. it just looked great and had all the stuff i was looking for. BUY IT YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!!!!

Excellent Guitar

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Ultracure Robert Smith Signature Model Electric Guitar:

I just recently picked up the Ultracure . I have nothing but good things to say about it . Great pickups , great neck , great hardware . Without a tone know ( 2 volumes , 1 master volume ) the guitar is set bright and sparkly ( which I love ). One thing that does stand out is that this guitar is BIG and it is HEAVY . This guitar is solid and VERY well built . Stays in tune and zero hum or echoing from the pickups . Frets are perfectly it tact and as said before this guitar is solid and well built . Just an all out beautiful instrument .

BIG tone from an even BIGGER guitar!

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Ultracure Robert Smith Signature Model Electric Guitar:

I just received my Ultracure about a week ago. It is my first Schecter. The guitar has excellent tone, a comfortable neck (not as thin as an Ibanez Wizard neck, but not like a log either), was set up from the factory with very low action, and seems to be very well built. A forewarning though, it is HUGE and very heavy (as heavy as if not heavier than a Les Paul). The size helps with sustain considerably though. There are no tone controls, but coil taps on both of the Seymour Duncan 59's make up for it. I am a huge Cure fanatic, but that was not my only reason for purchasing the guitar. I wanted something "different", and this guitar definitely delivers. I have been playing for over 20 years and own several guitars ranging from Fender, Ibanez, Gibson, etc., and I have not put the Schecter down since I got it. My only complaint is the issue of a case. Since it is so oddly shaped, finding a hard shell case has proven rather difficult. I have been forced to use an acoustic gig bag, which barely fits.
