Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Stealth C-1 Electric Guitar:
1)Background: I had spent the whole year to decide which guitar was gonna be my next gear. I made a list that had every guitar that I liked and I could afford, but this one wasn't on the list. I'm not a fan of heavy metal and most of Schecters are made for it. Those Japanese made Schecters are my favorites but they are not available outside Asia. EX: Schecter SD with Super Rock II. I really like those pickups but there are not really popular in U.S. Schecter PT comes with SR II but I don't like that model. I was browsing Schecter's website one day and I found this amazing guitar. There are only four videos about this guitar on Youtube and two of them don't have sound demos. They are not available in store as well. I watched the same video million times and I finally decided to get one of this baby. 2) I ordered one in Satin White, and it came to my local guitar center in four days. I got home and opened the box and this guitar looked super simple and beautiful, and the sound was sick as well. Then I found out there were some obvious scratches on the body, and the pops weren't screwed properly, the E string had terrible fret buzz as well. I searched this guitar on eBay and it looked the same as those blemished guitars (I purchase mine as a brand new one). So I had to go to guitar center and swap it out. For the poor manufacturer, I give it four star. However, for those who are not familiar with Super Rock II pickups, you guys should try this out. You will be blew away by how good this guitar sounds. It can't play super heavy music, but it is versatile due to coil-tap. And for those who like the look of Schecter but not a fan of metal music, this one is the right answer. Personally, I think this is the biggest surprise from Schecter in 2014.
