With a body that evokes the Mosrite Ventures-style guitars of the '60s and a no-nonsense single 'bucker alignment popularized in the late '70ds, The Shaun Morgan model carves out its own distinctive path through the guitar jungle. It features a single Duncan Designed HB-102 humbucker (which Shaun has used in all of his guitars for the past decade) with special ˜clear™ bobbins, and with the Master Volume/Kill Switch, single volume control showcases simplicity at its' finest.
Maple has a uniform grain, it' strong and stable, and it has less reaction from environmental changes than other hardwoods. Its tone is highly reflective, and focuses more energy onto the body wood. Maple transfers a bright tone to the body which complements the warm tones of a mahogany body.
The most common fretboard, Rosewood is naturally oily, and works well for any surface that sees frequent human contact. The sound is richer in fundamental than Maple because the stray overtones are absorbed into the oily pores.
Duncan Designed HB-102B Pickups(Clear Bobbins)
The HB-102B was modeled after Seymour's favorite humbucker, the USA-made SH-4 JB. Like the HB-101s, these pickups also use Alnico 5 magnets, but have a hotter winding spec, based on the world's most popular "hot-rodded" humbucker. The bridge pickup is Trembucker-spaced. Made with Clear Bobbins.
ROTOMATICS WITH 18:1 GEAR RATIO (102-18 SERIES) The original Rotomatic with an improved higher ratio gearing. The 18:1 ratio provides for finer tuning and greater stability. The finer gears provide smoother tuning and a higher degree of backlash elimination.

Schecter Guitar Research has recently come out with their artist edition guitars. Shaun Morgan, frontman for South African band Seether, had this axe custom made for him. It comes from a design used in the 1960's by Mosrite Ventures, which, if you take a look at those older models, will surprise you with the prices they are selling for, and the similarity in body of this guitar. One Seymour Duncan Humbucker, One Killswitch, One Volume Knob, One smart and simple construction of a quality guitar made by my favorite brand, Schecter.
