The spotlight shines on a rich solid mahogany thru-neck center that is graced with solid flamed maple wings for elegant styling. Maximum vibrational response at both ends of the strings is enhanced by a Graph Tech tusq nut and a TonePros bridge with sting-thru body. Seymour Duncan SH-11/Sh-1n humbuckers with coil-splitting translate that superb resonance into tones that range from a smooth jazz whisper to a raging hard-edged romp. The 25-1/2" scale neck is a multi-laminate of maple with wenge and walnut and is topped with a sublime ebony fingerboard. Schecter locking tuners keep your tuning just where you set it and creme binding on the neck and headstock add a tasteful touch of class.

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Hollywood Classic Electric Guitar:
As soon as I opened the box, this guitar took my breath away. The transparent red shows the beauty the wood. As soon as I put my DiMarzio Clip-Lock strap on, I plugged the Hollywood in to my Vox advt100 combo. It is by far the best sounding Schecter I have laid my hands on. The neck is not thin and not thick, and you can feel the muscle behind it when you run down the fretboard. The Seymour Duncans are out of this world, when you tap the humbuckers (on tone knob), in the neck position it almost goes acoustic. It is everything I could ask for, and has made my C-1 Hellraiser number two in the lineup. If you play blues, rock, even metal, this guitar will sound every bit as great as it looks.
