The Schecter Hellraiser V-1 features electronics that are unsurpassed. In the bridge position, an EMG-81TW has a dual-mode design that gives you all the crunch and aggressiveness of the original EMG-81 plus a single-coil sound with a fatter tone with plenty of punch and clarity. Dual internal preamps, one tuned for single-coil mode and the other for dual-coil mode, give the 81TW two distinct sounds. An EMG-89 in the neck position also has separate preamps each providing custom outputs for both dual coil and single coil modes. The 89 is loaded with Alnico V magnets for a vintage strat sound. The different modes are accessed through push/pull volume pots. Together these pickups give you a range of tones that will surprise you and your audience.
The body of the Hellraiser V-1 Electric Guitar not only looks awesome, but allows you unhindered access to the 25-1/2" scale mahogany set neck with Ultra access that is fitted with a rosewood fingerboard set with 24 extra-jumbo frets. Thru-body string threading adds to the tonal sustain of this instrument.
The Hellraiser V-1 Guitar has black hardware, abalone binding, and gothic cross inlays that all add to the dark vibe of this demonically inspired Schecter guitar.

wow! i bought this from a friend and thought it wasnt gonna play good to my likings because im a esp kinda guy, and im amazed by this guitar. it has a decieving red color to it and the pickups sound amazing with the push/pull coil taps, and its ravishing when you drop it to d or c and add alot of distorition. the neck is awesome and really extremely comfy in my opinion. buy it, you wont regret it.
I got this guitar a week ago and man this thing screams the pickups are amazing i like the coil tap(even though i dont use it that much). Pinch harmonics sound amazing and it just looks beautiful. The only thing i dont like is that it doesnt have floyd rose i miss my divebombs =(lol
this v is amazing. the string through and set-neck configuration of the body gives it amazing sustain. the emg 81/89 coil taps are amazing too. you can't really tell much of a difference with distortion in the coil tapping but on clean it provides a nice single coil sound. but even without the coil tapping the pickups still sound great. the only thing i don't like about it is that it has a slight bit of neck dive but, honestly, its something that can be worked past. the other day i played a lot les paul and the hellraiser v-1 was lighter and played as good, if not better, then that les paul. i play more of a metallica/alice in chains style of music and i strongly recommend this guitar to anyone who plays that style and everyone else who doesn't.
I got this guitar last christmas (my 4th guitar). i loved it when i got to guitar center and played it, everything from chugging t sweeping was clean and with the color i just fell in love. i played it for about a year and sold it. It just didnt keep up with me. it was an insane guitar to record with, and i regret selling it for that reason but it was very akward to gig with. I ended buying an ec-1000 and about 6 months after that i amde the choice to sell this guitar becaue it couldnt keep up with the ec. I'll allways regret selling this guitar. Buy it if you get a chance.
