Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Hellraiser Hybrid Solo-II:

This is one of the heaviest guitars out there. Sounds great, but if you want a heavy guitar with a straight back, but it. Those are my only two problems. Other than that, I loved the thing

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Hellraiser Hybrid Solo-II:

I use this product in a home recording, practice and live performance situations. I have owned Gibson Les Pauls, two ESP Eclipse II's, Music Man, among other brands. Schecter holds its own and can put up a fight with some of these companies.

Truly impressed with the quality control on these instruments for the price. Schecter are always a safe blind purchase for myself which I cant say for the other high-end guitar manufacturers . This guitar is drop dead gorgeous in purple and screams "high gain". No regrets, only awe.

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Hellraiser Hybrid Solo-II:

This guitar is a mahogany pleasure machine. No dead spots on the neck and feels incredibly fast to the touch. The electronics are top notch and the aesthetics of this guitar defy words; you just have to see it! Schecter has outdone themselves with this guitar. Its really nice to know you can get a high end Gibson-like quality instrument at such an affordable price.

        Rock solid and surprisingly versatile

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Hellraiser Hybrid Solo-II:

I expected this guitar to be good at metal and hard rock (and it is), but the unexpected surprise was how versatile it turned out to be. Lots of good, rich tones at the opposite end of the gain spectrum, too.

This is also a very, very well made instrument. It played well out of the box, is perfectly intonated, holds a tune, and is beautifully finished. Lots of natural resonance. I had no idea Schecters were this nice. I'm basically a Fender/G&L guy, but this Schecter gives up nothing to even my (very nice) Fullerton G&Ls in terms of quality.

I bought this guitar for gig/tour use in a new project that calls for aggressive tones. I'd have been fine if it had been good only for that. But I expect it to get a lot of other studio use, on a surprisingly wide range of music.
