Better than fish and custard!

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Damien Solo Elite Electric Guitar:

I just got this guitar for Christmas, and I fell in love with it right away. When I unboxed it, the action was just perfect and it was mostly in-tune. I hooked up to my iRig application for my iPod, plugged in some headphones, and you'd think it were a Gibson Explorer or something! The tone quality was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this guitar to any type of player, beginner or expert. It's definitely worth the price.

WELL worth your money!

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Damien Solo Elite Electric Guitar:

I got this guitar about a year ago, and it is the smoothest guitar I've ever played! The EMG pickups are great for metal and clean and compliment eachother VERY well! Not to mention the playability is very smooth and fast, harmonics are easier to hit, and there is never trouble when trying to reach the 24th fret! I recommend this guitar to any and all players!

Beast :D!

By Matthew

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Damien Solo Elite Electric Guitar:

so i got this guitar about half a year ago, It is INSANE!!!!!!!! i love it to death. also with the emg pickups the thing SCREEAAAMMMSSS!! \m/ the only reason i gave it 4 stars was because when i got it the strap nut up by the toggle switch needed to be re-glued because it was stripped. but its ok that was a cheap fix. totally love Schecters to death and ill be buying somewhere in the area of 8 to 10 more Schecters in the future. only con: this is just personal preference, the neck is not painted its just the color of the wood unlike the "hellraiser" series. but that's not really a con at all.... :D BUY THIS NOW!!!!!!!!!!

Ibanez to a Schecter

By Karsten J. Hilton

from Flowood, MS

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Damien Solo Elite Electric Guitar:

What can one say about this guitar that hasn't been said already? To get an appreciation for this guitar, you really should try one. I traded in my 1990 Ibanez RG550 for this guitar, and I have not been disappointed since. I was looking for a guitar that had sound, power, and style. Most of all, I wanted something without a floating bridge that was not a pain to tune. My RG550 had 24 frets, and I was looking for a Les Paul style guitar, knowing it would only have 22 frets. This beast came with 24 frets, the 81/85 EMG active pickups, which is what Zakk Wylde uses. So I was/am stoked to get an awesome guitar for such a great deal. With this guitar I am able to play anything from Disturbed, Sevendust, to Slash era GnR with powerful, or smooth sounds.

great guitar, decent price...

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Damien Solo Elite Electric Guitar:

I've been looking for an upgrade from my epiphone les paul special II for a while until I came across this guitar. Honestly im not a big fan of schecter, but i wanted something with emg's without having to donate a kidney. I was EXTREMELY skeptical but then I plugged it in and went straight to the lead channel and started playing. The emg's are crisp, clear, and tight. I have a B52 LS-100 stack with a roland- 131eq and my setup is now satan approved. Im definitely satisfied with this purchase. Its a great upgrade for anyone moving past beginner or as a secondary for the veterans. I really wanted the black but GC only had one in see through black. Still looks amazing. The only con I have found on this guitar thus far is that you have to face away from your amp due to potential to melt face and cause babies to spontaneously combust so keep your kids away or be a fire extinguished to go win it.

Sweet guitar!!!!

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Damien Solo Elite Electric Guitar:

I bought this guitar this past Summer and I am still amazed with this guitar! the tone is amazing, and the neck plays so smooth! I was planning on buying the Schecter hellraiser damien, but saw this one, tryed it out, and just liked the feel better. I love the tones i can get! I even use this guitar for blues and soft stuff. I dont see why people think Schecters are only for metal...the EMGs are good for anything from softer blues, to hardcore metal. If you mainly play blues, i deffinatly reccomend trying it out 1st, but i think it plays it wonderful. This is a great guitar!

Love at First Site

By Bozzy82

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Damien Solo Elite Electric Guitar:

This guitar is Amazing in every aspect. I love the EMG pickups and the very solid design. Im a fairly large guy so I fully appreciate the XL Frets. This guitar is also medium heavy in weight and feels like a monster should feel; It could truely be a weapon if need be. When I first heard this guitar I was completely amazed at its versatility in sound. It can do just about anything and I just can't stop staring at it. The pictures don't do it justice at all. Go see it. Go play it. Go buy it! Schecter has made a truely affordable rock machine here!

This is one great guitar. Iۡm a bit of a beginner when it comes to choosing guitars, but I found that this one plays exceptionally smoothly and can maintain a clear tone. This guitar can handle anything from intense distortion to smooth clear tones. I really enjoy this guitar and highly recommend trying it out.
