Comments about Schecter Guitar Research C-6 Plus Electric Guitar:
I really like this guitar and it has held up great over the past few months of use. To get the problems out of the way first, it came with bad fret buzz on the low E string that had to be fixed before I could play it (with minor adjustments to the bridge). The pickup switch is a little bit too loose and it jiggles around easily. The pickups produce a slightly muddy sound (similar to other cheaper models in the Schecter Diamond series), but that isn't too much of a problem if you want to play hard rock and metal only. With that said, these are all minor complaints that can be easily fixed. As for the good, the finish looks really nice, it sounds great with the right setup, feels great to play and is pretty versatile if you mess around with it enough. I probably wouldn't use it for anything more than practicing and small performances, but it is a very nice guitar for the money overall.
