Comments about Schecter Guitar Research C-1 Artist Limited Edition Electric Guitar:

This Guitar is one of the absolute sweetest guitars ever! You can get everything from a sweet, warm acoustic tone to snarling pinch harmonics and that really "heavy" sound. I would highly reccomend this guitar for anyone; from beginner to advanced. Buy it before it isn't around anymore!(Limited Edition)

Sweet Tones For a Great Price!

By Guitarfreak2810

from Pittsburgh, PA

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research C-1 Artist Limited Edition Electric Guitar:

This guitar can shred with distortion and provide a near acoustic tone. The sustain lasts forever. Once I played low e went to the bathroon and came back and it was still going. The ultra acces cutaway is perfect. I can reach the 24th fret with ease. The finish and binding is beautiful. Schecter makes quality guitars for a steal. P.S. The pictures on this site for this axe suck. Look at the pictures of the c-1 elite or c-1 blackjack for a more accurate representation.

I played this awesome piece of equippment at my freind's house. It is absolutely amazing. The pickups just give the guitar an overall powerful, deep sound. This is without a doubt one of the better guitars I've played. A+

Best guitar for the price range.

By I like schecters

from The Woodlands TX

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research C-1 Artist Limited Edition Electric Guitar:

This guitar plays like it is worth a lot more than you pay. The bridge is easliy ajusted so you can set the action to your preferance, its just two screws on either side of the bridge, that was a big plus for me. The sustain on the guitar is pretty amazing as well, it seems like the notes go on forever, its not too heavy either Another plus is that it is versitile, distortions sound great, clean sounds great, a whole range of effects sound great. The only down side I saw was the pick ups, they are nice pick ups and you really don't need to replace them unless your pretty serious because they aren't the best you can do.

Unbelievable Value!!

By Rob

from Ellington, CT

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research C-1 Artist Limited Edition Electric Guitar:

I ususally dont give ratings, but since this site was a great help in my decision for buying this guitar, I figured I should give a little back. This guitar is a great pallette of tones. With the real Duncan HB's and the coil tapping you can get almost any tone imaginable. Go dark and hammer out some freaky riffs, jazz runs, and great blues riffs. Throw in some distortion and youve got a great distoted blues sound all the way to some serious thrasnig and shredding, I get a wonderful harmonic response on mine, natural and pinch. You can get a pinch harmonic with such little effort. Then go single coil style and all of a sudden your nailing Chili Pepper riffs and other Strat like sounds. Im not saying it sounds exactly like a Strat (Get a Strat for that) but its pretty close and figuring what else youre getting here its even better in my eyes. I have this and an American Fender Telecaster, so between the two, I can get almost any tone I need. Great crunch, great palm muting response. I give it 10's on value for the dollar. I dont just jump in and buy something, I searched for 2 months until I decided upon this guitar. I couldnt play this one before buying it, however I tried out a bunch of different Schecters at Guitar Center and loved the way they sounded and played, and these didnt even have the real Duncans, they had the Duncan designed and still sounded great. I was goign to go more expensive, lookin at Gibson, Fat Teles, PRS SE's, and Ibanez. And Schecter was definitley the best bang for the buck. For the heck of it I tried some really high priced guitar, Gibson and PRS, and I just don't get it. Thousand of dollars for a these guitars. Do you want a player or do you want a trophy that cost you a second mortgage and your afraid to play because it costs so much. The Schecter is a work horse, opening it up the staple in the boxed sliced my finger open, and I didnt realize it, and got a little blood on the guitar. I was almost going to leave it as some kind of romantic symbol, but decided against it as I didnt want this beauty tainted. Guitars are a personal thing. Looks and tone!! So try out different ones and see what works for you. Ive got this and my Tele, and they are entirely different animals, but each serves its own purpose. And above all, spend your time wisely, as it is valuable, and put it into playing and learning the guitar, all the money in the world and the "best" guitar in the world cant make up for hours of practicing and learning the skill. The guitar is merely an extension of that.

This Guitar Is Simply Amazing

By EDawgy713

from Reno, NV

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research C-1 Artist Limited Edition Electric Guitar:

I bought this guitar more than a year ago and I have not had one problem with it. Ive never been able to even think of replacing it because no other guitar has come close to it. It has so much variety on account of the JB and the '59 esecially with coil tapping. It can go from a beautiful clean pleasant sound to a raging metal monster. The neck is just as amazing with the Ultra-access cutaway that it has. Hands just fit perfectly around it in all possitions. And the set neck keeps the tone ringing continously. And whats even more amazing is the price. This is my baby.

Compare To PRS

By Fxmusician

from Cleveland ,Ohio

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research C-1 Artist Limited Edition Electric Guitar:

Put this guitar side by side next to a Paul Reed Smith guitar, then look at the price tags. This Schecter C-1 is so unbelievable for the price, it's a steal. A solid instrument, phenomenal workmanship, set neck, carved top, mahogany body, seymour duncan pickups. The inotation was perfect right out of the box, excellent playability, fast neck. It has a warm tone that is great for any guitar style. It's just awesome! Buy this you can't go wrong.

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research C-1 Artist Limited Edition Electric Guitar:

You can't beat Schecter for their factory hot-rodded products. This guitar already has Seymour Duncan USA pickups, TonePros bridge, and Grover tuners. It needs NOTHING! The neck on mine was straight and the jumbo frets feel great. The sustain is awesome with the set neck and Tonepros bridge. Fit and finish is also excellent. Another quality product from Schecter!
