The Schecter Tempest Custom Electric guitar has a gorgeous flame maple top, a double cutaway mahogany body, set mahogany neck, and a 22-fret ebony fingerboard.

Its Schecter ultra access neck joint lets you reach the entire fretboard with comfort and ease. The TonePros bridge system includes a Tune-o-matic-style bridge with a stopbar tailpiece for stability and sustain.

The Schecter Tempest Custom is loaded with a pair of Seymour Duncan humbucking pickups with coil-splitting for an incredible range of tones. Appointments include mother-of-pearl split-crown inlays, cràme fretboard and body binding, pearl tuning buttons and chrome hardware.

    Purchased the Tempest Custom over 5 years ago and although I own 3 other Schecters and a Carvin and have owned many other high-end guitars this has been my #1 go to axe throughout. The fit and finish on this guitar is as good as anything made...very under-rated and underpriced in the market. The setup right out of the box was dead-on...comfortable neck with low action, straight neck, and no fret buzz. Two Duncan Designed pickups that work well for many genres of music. The coil tap feature is a sweet addition. After 5 years of heavy use this guitar still looks new - you can't hurt the finish. Tuners have never given any problems and seems to stay in tune forever. The absolute best buy at this price point!

  • Can you say more for less?

    While I was searching high and low for the right guitar at my local Guitar Center, I found this guitar. I picked it up. And almost immediately fell in love with music all over again. I like rock and I like blues. This guitar Let me play both any way I wanted. I could play blues with a touch of rock or rock with a touch of blues and everything in between. Fantastic fingerplay, great action, comfortable body shape, and a quality tone. I haven't bought this guitar yet. But i've spent over 24 hours at guitar center the past couple weeks just playing it. I'm going in monday morning to pick her up. I suggest you do the same.

    First off Schecter does a really great job with all of their guitars. The Schecter Tempest has a unique double cutaway body. The Seymor Duncan pickups allow that nice meaty sound. Like most Schecters the coil tapping allows so many more sounds. The tempest is a great guitar for any style music. Awsome job Schecter!
