Designed to replicate the guitar Synyster plays onstage, the Schecter Synyster Custom Electric Guitar boasts outrageously heavy tone. The Seymour Duncan Invader is designed for the heaviest tones a passive pickup can produce. The Sustainiac Driver/Pickup produces beautiful Humbucker tones when the Sustain switch is off, and works as the Sustainiac Driver when switched On. The Sustainiac Driver creates an infinite feedback sustain of string vibrations by electromagnetic feedback. And of course, this signature guitar still features Synyster's iconic ebony fretboard with Deathbat and "SYN" inlays and is finished in black with silver pinstripes.

    I love this guitar. After years of playing a Fernandez with a Sustainer system, I decided to try this out. The sound quality far surpassed what I had expected. It took a while to get the guitar, due to backorder, but it was worth the wait. Feels great. The only downside I have found is that I find myself hitting the pickups when following through with my picking hand. Could use a little more comfort room there. Otherwise, another outstanding job by Schecter.

  • Sustainiac!!!!

    This guitar is incredible. It has all the awesome features of the regular Synyster Gates Custom, but the sustainiac driver in the neck makes all the difference. It gives you the power to go crazy with the tremolo just like Syn does on stage and on the albums. An excellent guitar at an excellent price. It definitely deserves 5 stars!!!

  • Best guitar I could ask for!

    As soon as I saw this guitar in a catalog, it became my dream guitar. I saved up for it for a long time, and finally bought it about 5 months ago. I haven't stopped loving it since then. I play it for hours at a time almost every day. The sound is unbelievable. It plays so smooth. It looks fantastic. The finish has held up great, and it still looks almost new. The Floyd Rose did take a little bit of getting used to, but now that I have it how I want it, it's amazing. The Sustainiac can give you killer sounds. Great for Avenged Sevenfold, Metallica, Guns n Roses, Led Zepplin, or any metal I've tried so far. I don't really play many other genres, but I'm sure this beast of a guitar could handle it. I'd recommend it to anyone any day.
