  • I'm totally psyched!

As reviewed by Frank on 4/28/2011

Wow! I've always wanted to get into the Bass. I've played guitar for over 40 years and all that time I kept thinking "This is great, but what I really want to do is play some damn Bass!". I had no idea that I could get such an ass-kicking axe for under a grand, none whatsoever. I also bought some headphones (so I won't drive my wife insane) and an Orange 50BXT amp. This guitar is immaculate. It's freaking beautiful. The setup was nearly perfect with dead on intonation and perfect action. The neck is completely level. The tone controls are simple but very effective and very easy to use. This guitar sounds amazing. I don't know what else to say right now, except for I'm an extremely 'happy camper'. Kudos to Schecter for this amazing instrument!

  • Here it is...

As reviewed by Ryne Jones on 5/4/2011

The only words to describe this bass? Bad ass. If you're looking for a thick metal sound, look no further. The thing i like most about this bass is how smooth the neck is, it's so easy to play with this neck. The EMG-HZ pickups left my speechless. This bass is brutal in everyway possible. It's a phenomenal piece of work, i tip my hat off to Schecter. Thank you for such an amazing bass.

  • Gimme a high 5

As reviewed by Jeff Oursler on 3/28/2011

I bought this bass at GC in Kalamazoo, MI. My salesman Chad was very helpful. The bass is see-thru red with a super finish. The truss rod needed tightened to bring the action down where it's supposed to be (humidity?). Going thru the bass when I got it home I found the hardware needed some tightening up (tuning keys). found the intonation on the B and E strings needed adjustment. This bass is active with the battery stored behind the back cover. Requires removal of 4 screws for access. The strings on this need to be "super-long scale". The regular long scale strings will not work as the winding tapers down before it passes over the nut. This bass is a 35" scale and with the strings passing thru the body, they need to be extra-long. Once all set up to my liking, this bass plays very well and sounds very good too! Buy this one.
