  • Best Bass I've EVER Played

As reviewed by Angel4lost on 11/16/2006

This bass is amazing. I've had it for six months now, and it's still like it's brand new! The sound is amazing. This bass will purr, roar, growl, or even scream! It's perfect for any kind of heavy rock, and is actually better for softer music than you'd think. It still sounds good when I use it to play for my church, where we play a lot of David Crowder Band type music. There is one down side though. It goes through 9 volts like a beast! If you leave the battery in for a week, it'll be dead. I'd suggest buying a rechargable 9 volt or disconnecting the battery when you're not playing. It's really not too inconvienient. Oh! Did I mention that it comes with Elixir strings? Yup, that's right; Elixir strings!

I played this bass in the store and it was great ,although the strings made a slight buzz noise,it played very smoothly, overall I would suggest it.

  • Good bass for rock and metal

As reviewed by FuzzBall on 10/5/2006

The guitar is built well and it looks great, but I thought the action was bit too high. The pickups are great if you play rock or metal, but it may not be the right guitar for other styles of music. The 5th string adds a little more to the guitars tonal capabilities, and for the price difference between this and a standard 4 string it is definitely worth some consideration. The tuner machines work smoothly and the guitar stays in tune very well even if you are an aggressive player. Overall this is a good bass if you want a rock or metal bass, but if you want to play several types of music I would consider something different.
