I bought this guitar on sale and it is fantastic. Nice build job, a moderately heavy guitar, and it even includes a gig bag, unlike most guitars in this price range. If you do not look at the price, you will think you had spend $400++. Buy it, you will be happy an it was a very easy setup, with nice frets. I repeat...........Nice frets.

  • Impressive

I was looking for a back up 7 string for a higher end model that I have. I also wanted a fixed bridge model. The price of this was the first thing that caught my eye. I picked this guitar up today and I was the one who took it out of the box and did all the inspection and I have to say it's what you should expect. Took it home plugged it in and some minor tuning due to new strings and I was off and running. I've put probably 5 hours on it since bringing it home and things are sound as a pound. I had planned when I purchased this (online) to put new pick ups in but I have to say it's probably not necessary. Sure the window is open to do so but the pups that come with this aren't all that bad. Muddy if you are a step and a half down but there aren't much that aren't "too" muddy at that tuning. Great help from the staff at the GC store. It's a great starter if you are just getting into the 7 string thing. I bought it without ever playing it and I'm not disappointed. I hope anyone looking has the luck I've had with purchasing this guitar.

  • Definitely worth the money and time!

As reviewed by MIKE on 6/5/2014

Brought mine home and unpacked it and plugged it into my various amps and was blown away! Loved the string bends and harmonics right off the bat. Its my first 7 string that I have owned and since I couldn't afford an Ibanez Jem I thought why not give this a try. I believe if you are going to start on 7 strings this is the guitar for you! No problems with it at all. Very much satisfied with my purchase! I ran it through a Crate, Line 6 and a Marshall through my various peddles and was off and playing in no time!
