This bass is a great for a beginner wanting to learn how to play because it has an awesome sound with or without pedals, nice handling, and a cool body design so they get the whole learning expirience with style and great sound!!! Definitly worth the money you should spend on this bass.

  • Great Bass-Requires little maintenance

As reviewed by Amy on 11/30/2010

I bought this bass 8 years ago and still play it regularly. I am impressed at how well it has held up given the abuse it's taken! It sounds great despite a few problems I noticed throughout the years: -the volume knobs have cut out a few times, but can be easily cured by turning it all the way down and up again -the E string vibrates against the fretboard when notes lower than A are played. This can be fixed by raising the strings a little above the fretboard. -I noticed that the battery died once or twice since I bought it. Obviously replacing it with a new 9volt is the solution. - The most recent problem (within the past week or so) is that the nut fell off the place the chord is plugged into. Easily fixed by replacing the nut. These were not major issues, and for anyone looking to purchase this bass, I highly recommend it. I hope this review was helpful!

  • I must add

    As reviewed by on 6/29/2007

To add to my review below, I thought I must add, to be completely honest about this bass, it scratches was too easily. I've only had this bass since December, and it already has way too many noticible scratches. I don't think I would play this bass onstage very often, on account of everyone can see the scratches under the lights.
