Product Information

A guitar with a name that says it all — seriously

The body of the Hellraiser V-1 FR Electric Guitar not only looks awesome, but allows you unhindered access to the 25-1/2" scale mahogany set neck with Ultra access that is fitted with a rosewood fingerboard set with 24 extra-jumbo frets.

The Schecter Hellraiser V-1 features electronics that are unsurpassed. In the Bridge position, an EMG-81 TW has a dual-mode design that gives you all the crunch and aggressiveness of the original EMG-81 plus a single-coil sound with a fatter tone with plenty of punch and clarity. Dual internal preamps, one tuned for single-coil mode and the other for dual-coil mode, give the 81TW two distinct sounds. An EMG-89 in the neck position also has separate preamps each providing custom outputs for both dual coil and single coil modes. The 89 is loaded with Alnico V magnets for a vintage strat sound. The different modes are accessed through push/pull volume pots. Together these pickups give you a range of tones that will surprise you and your audience. An Original Floyd Rose Tremolo will help you create hellish effects without going out of tune.

The Hellraiser V-1 guitar has black chrome hardware, gray pearl binding, and gothic cross inlays that all add to the dark vibe of this demonically inspired Schecter guitar.

One Mean Machine!

I own many guitars which are looking cool hanging on my wall collecting dust because of the lack of playtime they receive. I can't put this thing down! When I attempt to write a riff or work out a melody that's rattling around in my head, I give the ol' Les Paul a chance at first, but I keep thinking "I know what this would sound like on the V-1" and I go straight for it. The action is low and fast with no fret buzz or dead notes ANYwhere on the board. When low chugging and riffing, it vibrates my chest assults my ears (just the way it should!) It cleans up nice too (but who wants to do that?)Like any V shaped guitar, it's a little tough to play sitting down, but that's the only gripe I can come up with. Plus, the Guitar Center had it polished up, tuned up and taught me every feature and how it works. Thanks to my buddy John at the Indy Guitar Center!

Best Guitar i've had

As soon as i heard that there was a V from schecter, i knew i had to get it, and the moment i sat down and tried it out, i fell in love with it. the coil taps sounded amazing, the FR is incredible, and the sustain is great, better than any guitar i've ever owned (not that i've ever owned any really good ones) The only downside is that it's kind of hard to sit and play with, but i've worked around that by putting my leg in between the space in the back
