An electric guitar that must be reckoned with…

The Schecter Hellraiser Solo-6 lives up to its name completely. The Hellraiser 6 was designed for loud, heavy metal music. Just a few power chords on the Hellraiser and you will know that no other tonewood conveys dark tones like solid mahogany. The 3-piece set mahogany neck with an Ultra Access heel design gives you total access to the 24-fret rosewood fingerboard. Fitted with an EMG Active 81TW Dual Mode humbucker/single-coil pickup in the bridge position and an EMG 89 Active humbucker/single-coil Alnico pickup in the neck position, the Schecter Hellraiser Solo-6 gives you an amazing sound palette to work with. Through-the-body string routing gives you even more sustain. Sweet aesthetic touches include gothic cross fingerboard inlays, abalone binding, and black chrome hardware.

Check the drop-down menu to the right to select colors and/or other options.

  • Wow.

As reviewed by Will on 5/16/2010

So I've had this guitar for a couple monthes and.. Wow. This thing is amazing. When I first plugged it in I had been playing A bc rich jr V deluxe to compare and the hellraiser blew it (or any guitar I had used that day includeing Gibsons) out of the water. It has a very warm powerful sound like a Les Paul but the emgs give it a powerful sound and the coil taps give it so much flexibility. One last note. It's built very well. It's really dureable, withstanding many tuneings a day and much travel without any neck warping or anything . It's set up very nicely and the overall quality it easily equal to Gibson or ESP.

  • Beast!

As reviewed by Stephen on 7/19/2010

This guitar is a beast! I've played it a few times at Guitar Center and well it's just awesome. One thing about this guitar is that it's heavy,if I didn't know better I'd say it was filled with bricks. Everything about this guitar SCREAMS metal from the Gothic cross inlay to the quilted maple top. Any rock or metal guitarist should add this to their arsenal.

  • I bought 2 of them!

As reviewed by Joe S on 4/25/2010

I bought the Schecter Hellraiser as an upgrade to my cheaper Schecter. The Hellraiser sounded SO good that I bought another one just in case something happened to my first Hellraiser. It sounds SO good because of the EMG configuration (red in color, not gold) and the string through body. GREAT TONE! Supreme sound! Looks for the RED EMG configuration! I LOVE the quality and sound of this model guitar.
