NEW REVIEW - AWSOME
Ok where do I start!? I've had this guitar for a good 8+ months so I think it's a good time to write a review. I'm 15 and have been playing for a good 2 years, now I'm not the best player but my friends think i'm good. This is my 2nd guitar, besides a squire. But I have played some epiphones and gibsons. This thing rocks! The EMG's are amazing. I can headbang to crazy train on high gain, and then switch over to an overdrive and play along with Hendrix. Coil taps activate the coils underneath the pickups and give you that ultra clean, crisp sound of a strat. The neck feels so smooth it's like glass. I bought the black cherry and along with mother of pearl accents, this thing is probably the most beautiful guitar I've seen. Go play one and plug into a Line6 , I have a line6 spider3 75 watt. All my friends and my dads friends who have musical experince think it sounds amazing. I bought one, and will definately be keeping it most of my life. Go play one, and buy it. You so won't regret it!

NEW REVIEW - Schecter Does It Again!!!
Few words others have used can do this guitar justice. The neck is a dream to play on, the fretwork incredible. The inlays are a little cheezy but definitely do the guitar justice by keeping the integrity of the neck as mostly wood with little embellishments for user approval. The action was good out of the store and I did pick the best of the litter in the store for action. When I got home and began to play it, I decided to lower it. I lowered the action so low with no buzz, that I had to raise the action because I could not get under the string to get a good bend.
On to the electronics. I have NEVER been a fan of EMG pups. Mostly a Duncan man. The 81 in the neck is clear and produces smooth overdrive through my Egnater Tourmaster 4100 and Bogner Alchemist. The taps on the controls give the guitar an excellent array of tones. The 81 in the neck is a little too mellow for me, if I were to replace it it would be with an 85 for a little more tone. Play it you will see what I mean. It does however, provide for a nice clean mellow tone even good for front pickup metal playing but a little too tame for my taste with distortion. Clean, much better than an 85 which has a tendency to be a little bright so really overall the 89 does do justice as an all around pickup.
The black Cherry is brilliant and with the Floyd you can wank all day and the thing rarely goes out of tune. I love this guitar! Do yourself a favor and get this guitar, you will not be disappointed! If you have any problems, Schecter will DEFINITELY take care of you! I have several and they have never let me down.

This Guitar will eat your children!!!!
I was walking down the street the other day when a Schecter Hellraiser decapitated an old lady crossing the street. After that it slaughtered a kid's soccer team with it's awesome screeching high notes. It then laughed maniacally and flew off into the sunset. I new then that I could not rest until I owned a Hellraiser of my own.

This guitar is just awesomely amazing! i love it! it gives you a heavy tone and is sure to please any player of any of my styles. (Classic Rock, Metal, Rock, etc.) It plays just as well on clean. Its' floyd rose is great for divebombs and the EMG pickups will allow this guitar to SCREAM!
This is a great guitar and i recommend it to any Rock/Metal player

Awesome guitar!!!
I had been looking for a new guitar to upgrade to for a while and after playing around a little I found that I liked Schecter guitars the best. I had borrowed my friend's C1+ for a while and this guitar blows it out of the water. This guitar can be used for nearly any style of music from blues to metal. The EMG's give it a really nice, full tone, but can still scream out solos. The action is smooth and the FR never goes out of tune. Sometimes I'll tune it, pick it up 2 weeks later and it'll still be perfectly in tune (although it rarely goes 2 weeks without being used :)). My only suggestion is to make the battery flap metal because the plastic ones seems flimsy, but overall I would definitely recommend this guitar to anyone.

Best Metal Guitar
The best guitar for metal, period. I got the black and the gloss is just so beautiful--it's classy and badass at the same time. In addition to the awesome look, it feels amazing--the way your hand feels around the neck, it's just so comfortable. It is very easy to slide up and down and even bend. The best thing is that I don't have to keep on retuning it. The last thing is the sound--it screams like no other. Get this guitar if you are into metal or hard rock because this is the best one. If you are into any other like Jazz or Blues, look for another one.

There is no comparison!
This guitar stands tall above the broken bodies of all others! The quality can be heard as soon as you hit a chord! I spent three hours playing others of a similar style and there was no comparison! From shredding Dimebag style to wailing like SRV, this axe would become your tool of choice! Try it, you'll buy it!

Forged for Metal Gods...
Ah my Hellraiser, where do I begin... My Shecter is one of the best guitars I've ever played, especially for the price.
For an equally expensive guitar of a more well-known brand, Gibson for example, you would get a guitar with a neck that wasn't as smooth, without as versitile pick-ups, and that didn't come with EMG's and a floyd rose tremolo.
They say active pick-ups kill some of the guitar's tone, but pull the knob and it's all good. For the styles I play the tone is good enough active. The neck is perfectly smooth and allows you to shred with ease.
The floyd rose is a nice touch, although it's not completely necessary. If you're wanting to save some $$ and a floyd rose isn't really you're style, I'd for the Hellraiser without a tremollo. This is because it makes strings a pain to change! I take about an hour to change my stirings, about once a month, playing a few hours every day.
Also the bridge is a little tricky. It doesn't allow you to palm mute very hard, resting your hand on the bridge changes the pitch. Bending one string independently will pull on the bridge and change the pitch of any open strings you might have ringing out.
All-n-all I'd buy it again, and recommend it to any moderate or advanced metal/rock player.
Rock on.

A metallic beast!
This guitar is sikk. I love everything about it. It stays in tune so well although its a little difficult to get in tune. The EMGs really pack some tone. On top of that, its just a gorgeous guitar. This picture does no justice for it. Definately worth the price.
