With an arched mahogany 7-string-through body and 3-piece mahogany set neck with Schecter's Ultra Access heel contour, the BlackJack C-7 is so comfortable to play, it almost becomes an extension of your body. The Schecter BlackJack ATX C-7 electric guitar features Seymour Duncan active Blackouts humbuckers. These are 9-volt pickups designed for aggressive playing styles; especially good for old school metal, garage, punk, thrash, drop tunings, and other heavy rock styles. The Blackouts' balanced inputs capture the tone that guitarists want in an active design, providing more lows, more highs, more tone — period. The ebony fingerboard features an Active Bolt inlay at the 12th fret, like a warning label for just how much power your axe is packing. Grover tuners, a TonePros TOM bridge and a GraphTech lubricating nut keep you in tune and maximize sustain. Aged mulitply binding is an excellent frame for the high-class aged finish.Check the drop-down menu to the right to select colors and/or other options.

Throw up your horns at this axe. Hands down one of the best guitars I have ever played. The body is sleek, the neck is fast, the action came perfectly set. Strait from the store, it's ready to be shredded on. The seventh string adds a bit of brutality to your playing, but isn't that what you look for in a guitar? The active Blackouts have crazy high output. You'll be able to do natural and artificial harmonics in your sleep with those puppies. Strait up the best guitar in the Schecter arsenal for heavier playing. Whitechapel, All Shall Perish, and Acacia Strain fans will love!

This guitar rocks! I got the matte black finish. I normally use Les Pauls and this is my first guitar of a different kind. The neck is great, and I love the fact that it's matte as well. I can really get some good slides with it. It gets really wide the closer you get to the bridge, but I had no problem getting used to it. The Duncans are AMAZING! They have plenty of tone and great dynamics (unlike EMGs), and they don't sound compressed at all. It's very comfortable to play, and it didn't take anytime getting used to playing it. I played a show the same night I got it. I put a set of Elixir 10's on there, but I had to leave the D'addario fat boy on it since Elixir doesn't make a string that big.

  • Off the deep end!!

Wow! My first real experience with a 7-string guitar and this one doesn't dissapoint. Wokmanship is flawless, guitar is Very resonant even when not plugged in. Fretboard is nice and flat radius, neck is perfectly shaped not too big. two complaints. 1.strings over the headstock seem to harmonicly resonate, can hear it when doing start/stop stuff. 2. the active pickups: not sure yet if they all the way bring out the tone of this thing they might be too "colored." might replace w/passive on a later date. My first schecter...possibly not my last! Good buy EXCELLENT customer service!
