The Schaller 6-in-line Locking Tuning Machine Heads work much like a top locking machine, except that the string is locked from the bottom. Shafts are staggered for clearance and accurate, secure tension.
Great tuners. Had to get Shallers instead of Sperzels because the headstock on my Godin SD is thicker than normal. Love 'em. Guitar stays in tune better, easier to change strings, they have also have had an effect on the overall tone of the guitar. It's bigger and more resonant with better sustain. I'd definitely recommend these expecially if you're into wammy bar and have a Fender style tremolo.
I was gonna get Sperzel but they were to short for my Ibanez headstock, so i got the Shaller, what a difference in sound if makes lower base and higher highs, I wouldn't trade these for nothing. they are the locking kind I would recommend them to everybody Doug
translate-thank you these are a great product made in Germany not Tiawan have both and do see difference get the German made but either is better than fender non locking. Increase tone add a tusq nut and saddles and it will produce outstanding sound from body thru neck. thanks for the awesome product would reccomend for any fender product.
