These are my favorite. They clamp on, and stay on. That's it. End of story. You won't have to worry about your investment smashing into the ground. The hardware is top grade, it IS Schaller afterall... The screw for Schaller goes in to most guitars easily, and you don't have to drill anything, or worry about cracking the body. Rickenbacker uses Schallers STOCK, so it's pretty obvious they're doing it right. Anyways, if you want something that simply works perfectly, then get these. The knockoffs have a reputation for failing. Schallers are the true deal.
These strap locks are great! There simple and easy to use and are pretty much impossible for your strap to fall of of them. They are real easy to install, just take your old ones off and put these on. No need to make the hole bigger. My strap use to always fall off my SG, now they don't and I can let my guitar hang without worrying about it falling.
These came with my 50th Anniversary Deluxe Strat and work great. So I thought I would buy them for my other 2 guitars, a Dean and an Ibanez. The only thing is, the screws that came with these are smaller in diameter than the stock screws on those two brands. To avoid the toothpicks and Elmers glue in the holes trick, I drilled out the Schaller buttons for the larger stock screws and ground down the screw head diameter with my moto tool to fit the smaller buttons. Now using the original screws the buttons are secure. I gave it 4 stars because of the modifications I had to make. Give it 5 stars for keeping your guitar safe while playing.
