Without a doubt, over the past few years the ukulele has gained a stronger presence in popular music. The uke is a great addition to any player's arsenal, and an excellent way to get started for new musicians.

Luckily, it's never been easier to learn the uke than with Guitar Center's free ukulele classes. Every week, we'll present an in-store class designed to teach beginners the basics of the instrument, including tuning, chords and techniques-as well as provide players of all levels the opportunity to play with like-minded musicians.

Miss one? Want a refresher? No problem. The same lesson is presented each week, allowing players to continually hone their newly found ukulele chops.
