Great Sounding Cymbals

By VicFirthFan123

On this cymbal set I really like the sound of the crash. It reminds me of a Zildjian A custom crash thats much more expensive than this one in this set is. I've played on both the rock set and performance set and the performance set sounds much better than the rock set by a long run. The ride doesn't sound great on the rock set at first but as soon as it's broken in it will sound great. I just wish that the bell of the ride could have been a tad bit larger. Also, the hi hats have a great chick. All in all great cymbals for the moderate level player.

The best for the money.

I just got this set of cymbals a few days ago. I am very very impressed so far. The hats have a perfect sound, whether opened, semi-opened, closed or kicked. The crash is just amazing and could be used as a crash/ride even though they don't advertise it that way. The ride is perfect for me. A common complaint is about the bell on all the cymbals. Although it is much smaller than average, the bell on both the crash and the ride sound beautiful. My original plan was to buy another B8 set-up. These were a few bucks more and sounded better, so I got them. Once I started playing them with my set I realized that these could definately be considered "high-end" although their price isn't bad at all. OK, I'm going back to beat my circles some more.
