Aweseome cymbal over all. Nice and deep crash when you want it to be. I also use it as a ride when i play minimal kits. It gives a nice sizzle when you play taps on the flat surface, and works great for that "crash ride" sound. The bell isnt ideal for being used as a ride but then again its not even a ride cymbal. So buy it. Itz nice.

Great Crash!

By Stan

from Sacramento, Ca

I bought this 18in Sabian Xs20 crash in the store and its awesome! I love the way it sounds and feels. I also have a Xs20 20in ride and these 2 go well together. If you are a Sabian Cymbal lover you'll love this crash, and hey even if you are not, try it out you'll be happy that you've bought it! I do recommend this crash!

GC used Sabian XS20

By ALONZO GONGORA

from Missouri City, TX

I recently purchased a used 16" Med. Thin Crash from Guitar center. The cymbal is great. I've heard that XS20 cymbals don't sound as good as others in the Sabian family. Well, personally I love the sound. But it sounds exactly like what I've always thought how a cymbal is supposed to sound. It's supposed to be a "vintage" sound and seeing as I'm a "Vintage" drummer that seems fit! lol GC used equipment dept is amazing. I got my cymbal very well packed on the exact day I was told it would arrive and received a follow up email from someone at Guitar Center asking if I was pleased with my purchase....YES!!! very happy with the cymbal and with GC's used department!!!

An expensive cymbal for a Low price

By Clint

from Atlanta,Ga

This cymbal sounds Great! I love the washy and fast decay of it. At first i was affraid to get it because i thought it would be like a B8 cymbal...I was wrong. sounds just like a $200. When i went to guitarcenter to hear it. It beat Paist 5's,B8's,ZBT,ZXT,AND ZHT...Buy this cymbal, You wont regret it.

Awesome for the price

By Eddie Goebel

I just got this crash and it sound really good for the price. I got the 16' and it sounds really bright and has a lot of warmth. Its a little bit washy but other than that its awesome.

Sabian XS20 Medium Thin Crash

By John

from aurora, il

This is a great crash for the money. It sounds and looks high end and won't break the bank. This crash can stand up to hard hitting and is great for live performances because it is loud. It's great that it is made of the same metal as other Sabian's. I also have the XS20 Rock Ride and it compliments it nicely. Overall a great buy.

Good, but not perfect

By drummin jak

from Orange, CA

I recently purchased all 3 sizes of this cymbal through the super cymbal set, and they aren't too shabby. The 14 inch has a nice, very bright tone but isn't very powerful. The 16 is a little washy and fades pretty fast but the sound is a nice, bright crash. I absolutely love the 18. It has a full, but bright roar and is very powerful and loud. These cymbals are made out of the same material that higher end sabians (AA's, HHX's, etc) are made of. Overall, these cymbals are pretty good, and a cheap middleground between the B8's and upper Sabian models, even if the 14 and 16 are a bit washy.

Great Cymbal for the Price

By CJN

from Birch Run, MI

I have a drum kit with six different cymbals. So when I purchase new cymbals, the sound is the most important item. When I purchased the 16" XS20 Crash. This cymbal added a new missing sound to my Kit. This cymbal has a rich brilliant crash sound, without that thin ring. It was a nice surprise to find a good sounding cymbal for a good price.
