Drummers who love dark cymbals with fast responses will love the Sabian Vanguard Series. Extra-thin and light, it provides an elegant, crystalline complexity of sound that is always musical. With its small bell and extended profile, this Vanguard Ride delivers clean, immediate responses, with less overall wash.

Hand-hammered and pinpoint lathed, the result is clean, woody stick definition, providing exceptional articulation for such light cymbals. Vanguard is the perfect blend of old-world Turkish cymbal making with modern innovation.

Comments about Sabian HH Vanguard Ride:

I was looking for a cymbal to replace my AAX Omni because I used that cymbal mainly as my ride cymbal. I ran across the HH vanguard and decided to try it out. I ended getting the 21" cymbal. This cymbal is versatile in my opinion. Actually it's more versatile than my Omni. It works really well as a ride cymbal with a dark, broad sound. But it can function as a crash cymbal quite well. The cymbal is really thin and sticking on it is soft and responsive. Overall I'm happy with the cymbal. It's a little pricey but worth it.
