Very Oriental with an aggressive attack.

Comments about Sabian HH Series Thin Chinese Cymbal:

I used to own the 18ۡݕ_ HH Thin Chinese, but the HHX Chinese won me over. I can honestly say I really liked them both. Both sound dark, yet very musical, & fast decay. The HH is definitely more Oriental, and surprisingly has a bigger, aggressive ۡ̏attackۡݕ_ than the HHX. The HHX has a dirtier, raw bite & a much faster feel. I do feel the hammered cymbals make for a better Chinese, providing musicality with a darker edge. I also feel the hammered Chinese have less unwanted overtones & midrange. Not to say the others arenۡt any goodۡ_just my preference. Now with everything Iۡve stated, its all opinion & preferenceۡ_every drummerۡs style & ۡ̏earۡݕ_ is different.
