These cymbals are some of the best hi-hats i've ever played on, and for the price, you can't miss these. They sound great in any kind of rock, from Metal to a more U2 sort of sound. These are a must have for any rock drummer.

Good hi-hat

By mak yorihiro

from West lake California

I have had these hi-hats for my in tire career and it has a good chick to it but I don't like the opened sound to it but it's definitely is a good hi-hat and I can say that I love Sabian and I hope to get more

What an upgrade!

By A. Gino Brunengo

from Falcon Colorado

I am a proud owner of a pair of 14" B8s that I purchased used from GuitarCenter. What a difference from the no-name starter hi-hats I had. I didn't even adjust the stand or anything- just popped them on. They sound like REAL hi-hats, for lack of a better description. Highly recommended just for the sound alone, which helps us beginners learn how to do that "hi-hat stuff".

Great Quality!

By Ryan Doyle

from Crandall, Texas

Nice open sound and fairly great closed sound. Definitely a good buy for the price. Have had mine for over a year now and the top one is only dirty from finger prints and the logo is fading do to hitting it with the sticks.

amazing sound for beginner cymbals

By BOB CARLL

from bel air MD

ive had these cymbals for over 4 years and i couldnt be happier. the sound is nice and crispy when playing closed, open, or loose. i actually prefer these over most higher quality hi hats. has a nice "saturated" tone as opposed to a pingy, dry tone

Don't be Picky

By Daniel Torres

from Munster,IN

I had this for about 5 months and i don't regret buying them. Some people can be really picky with cymbals that they spend more than $200 for a pair of high-hats when you can buy a pair of high-hats lower that $200 but still have the same sound. Looks don't count, Its the sound that counts. So i suggest this to any level drummer. Don't be DUMB seriously!

Not amazing.... Not really okay either....

By Sabrina

from Carrollton, TX

My friend got these for his drums and they sounded OKAY. Not AMAZING. And not really good either. If you're a beginner, then these aren't even THAT good. Your best bet - - look for a different cymbal!!!
