Sabian B8 Performance w/free 18"crash

By Tony

from Aurora, Illinois

This is one of the ultimate beginners cymbal packs. These are great for general Rock & Roll, Punk or loud music. Excellent for that extra set of cymbals at a bagain price.

great for the price.

By joseph

from california

there are better ones out there but these do what you need them to do, and do it fairly well. Not gonna sound like a $1000 dollar set, but its not gonna cost $1000 ether. you can always add to it or replace them one at a time as you get the money. But they are great for beginners for the price. Be sure to find out about an add on warranty because cymbals crack and $30 now is better then a whole new pack in 6 months.

Amazing

By PAUL

from USA

This pack is perfect. It comes with the essiantials for a great drummer: a crash to crash, a larger crash to ride, a ride and hats. These cymbals are inexpensive and great.

Pretty Good Set

By Patrick

from Maryland

I just bought these and the price wasn't horrible and must say I think the high hat and ride cymbal sound great! The crashes sound okay, they ring a little longer then wanted (but that could be fixed with putting a little duct tape on the bottom of the cymbal). The 14" crash is getting some scuffs on it, but no dents so until I actually get a dent there are no complaints my way. But only time will tell how good these actually hold up.

Bad cymbals

By Patrick Trossbach

from Maryland, Bel Air

Bought these two days ago, and going to return them tomorrow. The hit hat sounds horrible, the cymbals sound bad and ring forever. The only cymbal that actually sounds semi good is the ride cymbal, save your money and buy a higher grade cymbal set.

Great budget set

By Joe

from Akron, Ohio

I got these about 2 weeks ago and like them very much. Sound is a little darker than i would like but if you are on a budget, they a very good. Crashes ring just a little too long but the hi-hat sounds great.

Nice for the price

By Greg

from Birmingham,AL

These cymbals sound much better then the others in their price range. I already had an 18 inch B8 crash/ride and tonally it fits (as a crash) right in between both of these crashes. The hats didnt sound that great so I took the top from my old sabian hats and used it for the bottom and they sound much better. Overall this pack is well worth the price, they sound pretty darn good and the set is complete. Whether a new drummer or limited funds, I would recommend these cymbals.

Not that great

By Chris Messineo

from Roseville, CA

The hi-hats sound terrible. The Crash rings forever, the Ride is not bad that's why I gave it a 2 stars. You're better off going to the store and hitting some cymbals and buying the ones that sound good.

Great set.

By MATT BUNTJE

from Minnesota

I didn't get this set but the set i got came with everything in this set plus a 10 inch splash and a 14 inch crash. I got the B8 Super Set. The cymbals sound great. I was more of a Zildjian guy before I got these, but these were on discount. I just couldn't turn it down and these are winning me over. I love every cymbal that comes with it. The only problem I have now is that I have too many cymbals and not enough stands. Never thought I would have that problem. I just can't say enough about these cymbals. Sabian, you did good.
