I have been playing on my B-8 series set for three years now. The 15" crash isn't as "splashy" as most like, this is still a great set of cymbals for the price. The 17" has a deeper "ride" sound. The combination of the two crashes make excellent cymbal swells. And lastly, the 8" splash does just that. SPLASH! Worth the price for anyone trying to save a few bucks without loosing quality...after all..they're Sabians!

I bought these just to add a couple more cymbals to my set. They work as a great addition as far as being there but the sound quality for these is low in comparison to my high end Sabian Cymbals.. Way different hitting a crash side by side these are allot more dull... With that being said if you already have 1 or 2 main crashes that sound good these would be a good addition but I would not recomend as your main crash cymbals.

Pretty Good

By Joshua Plaziak

from carlsbad

I just picked these cymbals up to add to my set, for the 150 price, not bad, BUT they do sound a little tingy. but once you start to break them in they start to sound a little nicer. I love the splash that comes with it, and the 15" sounds pretty good, although the 17" sound way to tingy, but once again these are 150$ cymbals not 500$. So as it stands these are great to add the a set if your just beginning and not wanting to drop to much on a pack.

wow what a bang for you'r buck!!

By Mary Jane Sullivan

I purchased these cymbals recently, they have a smooth sound, and are a great deal. but they have a higher pitch than you would think. like the splash has a ringe sound if you want to know more look them up on YouTube. but for beginner cymbal's they rock .

Good for the price

By Tim Hunt

from Sandy UT

I play punk/metal drumming, and these cymbals are a huge upgrade from what I was using before. Maybe they're not great, but they have the crisp, short sustain that i'm looking for.

Awesome Cymbals

By Cayetano Garcia-Cachay

from Michigan

I bought these mostly because i was only using a crash ride for everything, I then bought these, i was not Disappointed. These are great for starters, i use them a lot, and strange enough, the term LIGHT crashes is not to be taken literally, they are not flimsy, and have good power in them. I have had them for some time now, and no signs of denting what's however. The 17" crash is strong, and bright, the 15" is also no exception, and as a bonus the 8" splash is also very well built, only problem is that it is very sensitive, but also very well built. Buy this pack, you won't regret it

Good for starters.

By Marcus

from Bothell, Washington

I bought these for my last birthday, and it was great for the time being. I was in my first band, and I was starting to improve on my drumming skills. To cut to the chase, these cymbals are great for people who are starting to go from what I call "paper plate cymbals" to an actual kit. The sounds aren't as good as they could be, but that's why you upgrade later on. 4 stars.
