B8s still suiting a drummer of 10 years.
I made the mistake of selling my kit a year ago and now I have to start a new one, cymbals were my priority to start the kit and I was short on cash so I got this pack. B8 are what I had on my last kit, the kit I started playing on and I know they did the job. These cymbals are great for beginners and even the more experienced players can get satisfaction out of these cymbals.

excellent deal ok cymbals
When I first started playing drums I was using B8's. This is a really good deal on a complete cymbal set. These cymbals are really good and after 4 years I'm still using the high hats(well only the top, sounds great with a zildjian ZHT bottom) I would highly recommend this to beginning drummers who are just starting out.

i bought the pack not to long ago. They gave me even more excitement to play my drums. The cymbals are so clean and penetrating!.I am glad I bought them before any one else could. Now all of my friends are jealous of my drum kit and say it sounds like as if it was a professionals kit.

awesome cymbals
All the cymbals that are in this set are great for any type of rock or metal, they sound so good, especally the 14" and 16" crashes. i would recomend this set of cymbals to anyone that is starting out or if you just want to upgrade your cymbals.

Incredible for a Starter
I started with B8's for the same reason most people do, they're cheap and decent cymbals. I kept those B8's when I upgraded my cymbals slowly. Now that I've played for a while, experimenting with different cymbals I found I could never go back to B8's. I now play with Sabian's higher quality cast cymbals, (AAX, HHX, and HH's), and find the sound quality a lot nicer. Basically I'm saying this set, especially with the free 18" crash and 10" splash is an incredible deal for a beginner. But if you're a more experienced drummer, these probably aren't what you're looking for.

great cymbols
I don't understand why everyone has said these are good beginner's cymbals. i thought they sounded amazing they are loud and bright sounding cymbals. the 14" thin crash sounded like a mix between a splash and a crash and the 16" and 18" thin crashes were loud and bright. the 20" ride had a nice sound but i would have liked less ring to it. the 14" hi hats sounded nice and deep. the splash just sounded amazing. i only recommend these cymbals to people who like a loud bright sound for their set

good deal, more for starters
I got this set a couple months after i started playing and these cymbals worked great for me. I loved the amount of cymbals this set came with. There not the best quality but I would recomend them to any new drummers.

Awesome..... But
I bought This set of cymbals a little over a year ago, and I must say, they've held up quite nicely against the loudness of guitars, and my actual drums. But I do have to say that the hi-hats are a bit over-powering when it comes to hitting them open. Other than that, I'd say this is the best set of cymbals to get if you want a great set for little cost. Great for beginners.

Good cymbals.
These are good cymbals, nice and bright with a ringing tone. However, I do have a few negative comments: The 16" Thin Crash seems really tight on the stand no matter how much you loosen it. Also, it has a really annoying ring that sounds like an old fashioned telephone a few seconds after you strike the cymbal. The splash is great, however. I really like its sound. The ride is also another great cymbal in this pack. For some reason, the other B8 Pack I use, (the one with 14" Hi-Hats, a 16" Crash, a free 18" Crash, and a 20" Ride), sounds better and i like it more. But this set doesn't develop ugly white stick marks as bad as the other set, which is not very durable.
