  • Updated review on Sabian Sbr's Crash 16"

As reviewed by Colin Olsen on 3/5/2011

Okay, so the first time I reviewed this was back in september, and i thought it was great. now, i look back and say its "meh." like its not garbage but its not the best sabian line. The sbr line beats the b8's by a lot, but if you are just gonna get it to level up from crappy aluminum cymbals, save your money for the AA's or XS 20's. its a medium size in thickness, so it doesn't have great tone, but it hasn't broken up on me...yet.

  • Whatta cymbal!

As reviewed by Colin Olsen on 10/8/2010

Okay, so I bought this cymbal with a pdp set (actually it came with it). I know how quality cymbals sound and I was absolutely amazed with the tone and quality. It looks and sounds profeesional. It has a bright tone to it, and great sustain. It works for my thrash and hasn't cracked or dented one bit (and i play like death metal loud). It's absolutely amazing.

  • Well its Brass

As reviewed by Cesar Aguirre on 4/12/2011

They are brass, so this isn?t musically going to be the best. It does have that annoying high pitch over tone and twaa sound.. i got the hats ride and this might be the weakest cymbal. It does what it is intended to do and it does blend in pretty good with the rest of the set. Lacks volume but it?s not crap! Now I don?t know about durability because I have had it for some weeks only would recommend for beginners.
