Designed with the Rush drummer!

Developed with Neil Peart of Rush, the Sabian Paragon series blends two styles of lathing for a very balanced hi-hat cymbal tone. Pinpoint lathing creates a narrower groove for a fast, lively response on the top, while the traditional AA lathing creates a wider groove for a fuller, richer tone on the bottom side.

Medium weight, for fast, crisp responses and clean sticking.

  • Amazing Sound No Matter They're Played- Far Ahead of the Competition

As reviewed by James Hundt Jr. on 1/2/2009

I just purchased these hi-hats today and I'm amazed. At the shop they sounded far better than any other hi-hats I tried out. -Beautiful tone and no trashy-sounding resonance -Have a gorgeous, classy vintage sound when opened and closed with the foot -Surprisingly great sounding when played partially open -In general they're quiet hats but have the potential to be loud and cut through the music if need be. -Look positively gorgeous I'm extremely pleased with my purchase of these and would recommend them to any drummer.

  • Superb Sound in All Areas

As reviewed by James Hundt Jr. on 1/6/2009

I recently bought these hi-hats and they have already become my favorite part of my kit. They sound great when played closed (a nice 'tik' without the ugly resonance), really good and not too loud or trashy when played partially open, and also make a very satisfying 'chik' sound when opened and closed with the foot. I'm extremely pleased with these hi-hats and would recommend them to anyone.

  • Crsip and Versatile Hats

As reviewed by Zak on 8/11/2006

I really like these hats. I have the 14" cymbals, and they sound really good. They are heavy, but crisp. They have a great closed sound, the semi-open sound i great, and the pedal sound is also very good. The one area they don't shine in is completely open, but not many hats do. Sabian cymbals are quality, and these are no exception.
