Availability:

Designed with the Rush drummer!

The Sabian Neil Peart Paragon Crash is a medium weight cymbal with large bell boosting volume and power for fast, explosive response.

Developed with Neil Peart of Rush, Sabian Paragon Series Cymbals blend 2 styles of lathing for a very balanced cymbal tone. Pinpoint lathing creates a narrower groove for a fast, lively response on the top, while the traditional AA lathing creates a wider groove for a fuller, richer tone on the bottom side.

  • amazing cymbals.

As reviewed by Kevin Maslan. on 5/10/2007

I play hardcore & deathmetal. These cymbals are amazing & fits the part perfectly. I own the 16" crash, 14" high hats, & 22" ride. The high hats are smooth, the ride & it's bell sounds sick & the crash is loud but clear. These cymbals are simply amazing, if any drummer wants to get serious, then they need some serious cymbals. The Neil Peart Paragon's are the perfect cymbals...hands down.

  • Worth a listen

I've been a Zildjian guy for years. Every once in a while I'll check out what the competition is up to. I'm not a huge Neil Peart fan, but, the Paragon series will give everyone a run for their money. The 20" has a nice shimmer and excellent sizzle at low volume or full force. Aesthetically pleasing too, very muted logos unlike the black ink used on others. When I'm in the market for some smaller hi-hats, I'll be giving the Paragon series an audition as well as the trusty Zildjians. TIP: Make sure you bring in your other cymbals to find the right match when auditioning a new Paragon for your cymbal bag.

  • Great cymbol

As reviewed by BigRed on 3/12/2007

I have always been an adimate Zildjian user and baught nothing but. I would not replace this cymbol with anything else. It has a clean sound with a great attack. Can be used for many different styles, I my self am in a Rock band and this cymbol is great. A great buy for those drummers that want to get serious.
