I bought this cymbal a few months ago and couldnt be happier. the bell on it is great its loud and cutting. the cymbal has a nice dark ping to it with nice overtones. and my favorite part is how crashable it is. overall a great well rounded cymbal cant be a Sabian.
Bought this ride about a month ago. Love a lot of things about it. First, its a medium weight that has good definition, but you are still able to crash if and get a good amount of wash. Second, the bell has a very funky sound to it because of its raw design. This to me is a great all around dark sounding ride.
I did not buy this cymbal but unfortunately I had to play it at a gig on the set that was there. If you like a trashy sounding ping that just goes on and on and on after you hit then get this cymbal. This honestly sounds to me like I was playing a cheap crash cymbal as a ride. There is no flexibility in this cymbal at all. It sounds like garbage! I'm not claiming sides here because I like very good equipment no matter the brand but I know why i strictly buy Zildjian. I would not buy this if it was $25- it is a complete waste. From one musician to others, DO NOT buy this.
