Cheap, Powerful, and Versatile

This cymbal is one of the best crashes I've ever played. It's possible that the price for a popular brand cymbal is what caught my attention at first, but I've really gotten to appreciate it now, even after 3 years of drumming. Within these 3 tears, it has'nt cracked, keyholed, or dented in any way. As for the tone, it's very loud when you want it to be, but it also works surprisingly well in quieter situations. The B8's also surprised me because of the value, but these are a whole notch above the B8 normals. I highly recommend them for beginners or intermediate players. I have, in fact played higher end crashes as well, but the B8 Pro series produce a sound almost as desirable as the nice HHX's or even Zildjian K's becae they are flexible and extremely cheap.

i own it!!

A great, quick crash. Fast, controled decay, good for adding an extra effect cymbal.High pitched and great sound for a low end Sabian.

New Drummer

I purchased this cymbal because I needed another crash, but I am not in a band yet (for now my drumming is a "hobby") and was expecting a decent-sounding cymbal, but this really sounds amazing, even with a Paragon 16" Crash! Great job Sabian!

Great thin crash!

First off, let me tell you that Sabian B8 Pros are highly under-rated cymbals. They are amazing, no doubt about it. For a beginner, these are amazing. I've been drumming for about 2 years, and I bought this crash a couple months ago. It's bright, cutting, and explosive. Unlike other cheap(er) cymbals, like Zildjian ZBTs, these will take a beating and keep on... beating :) Definitely a good buy, great price as well!
