Heavy. Sharp, high-pitched attack is focused and definite, for excellent penetrating power.
About a year ago i purchased an 18" rock crash, and 14" Hi-Hats. I fell in love with these cymbals. So last month i went out and bought a 16" Medium Crash and a 10" Splash. I see myself buying more B8Pro cymbals. Sabian is the way to go. i Strongly reccomend these if you're in a band or just chillin and bangin on some drums. Awesome experience. Go to the Sabian site, you can hear samples of every cymbal they have. Love these cymbals!

This is a really heavy crash (obviously), and works really well with other b8 pro cymbals. I play alternative, hard rock, and some metal and this crash works great for songs by Avenged Sevenfold, and some Muse even. Very heavy and loud crash which easily cuts through the other instruments. Amazing attack, and a medium to long decay. I have the 16" and it is amazing and suits my kit double bass (pedals) very well. It can even be lightly ridden on for quiet jazzish parts of songs. The only downside of this cymbal (at least the 16") is it has no bell, though few crashes do. The bell is nothing, but it is still easy to get 3 entirely different sounds out of this crash. Buy it if you want something heavy. I've had it for about 4 weeks now, and it is still amazing :)
