A beautiful hybrid crash-ride from the Sabian Vault.

Designed with the astonishing Jojo Mayer, the B20 bronze OMNI has a medium center and extra-thin edge, making it a great crash-able ride. It's just the kind of innovation you've come to expect from the Artisans in the Sabian Vault.

  • AMAZING!!!!

The Sabian Omni Crash is the first of its kind. It is the only true crash-ride since it is able to be ridden on the thick, unlathed portion for dry, crisp, and cutting sound while you can still hit the thin, lathed edge for a piercing yet full crash sound that, unlike other crash-rides, does NOT interfere with the stick definition on the ride portion. This is the most innovative cymbal Sabian has released to date by a longshot; simply a must have for those looking for the perfect crash-ride.

I have spent the last 8 months of my life searching for the perfect ride and it is finally here! Anyone who has spent time playing cymbals by any company knows the word "crash/ride" means a cymbal that is really not that good at either. There are a variety of rides with great stick definition and cutting bells that sound like gongs when you wash on them and also rides that wash beautifully but have no stick definition or bell to speak of. I am a Zildjian fan for the most part, though I do follow sabian's products online, and when I saw JoJo's review of this cymbal I thought I would give it a try. It has really strong stick definition in the heavy unlathed center and a beautiful trashy wash on the outside, with an above average bell to tie it all together! This ride is definitely my new favorite cymbal on my set up- but it is not for everyone. You have to play it to know what I am talking about, but while it does cross the boundary between crash and ride well, it is much more trashy then a Sweet Ride for example, much more similar to a K dark ride in wash tone. That being said, no matter what genre you play, it is definitely worth checking this cymbal out if you are looking for a darkish ride with excellent stick definition, wash AND a good bell.

  • Great Cymbal

As reviewed by MICHAEL BARRIOS on 10/23/2011

i just bought the 22 inch omni, and must say this is the best cymbal i ever bought great stick definition, the bell is so wonderful. If You ride the edge you can get a nice jazz wash out of it. The omni has the best sound quality you can get out of a cymbal. When you buy this cymbal its like 4 great cymbals in one. Thank you Sabian, and Jojo Mayer
