This is an amazing crash cymbal. It has a very nice, sophisticated tone and is great for pretty much any style. I've used it for things from metal, to light jazz and almost everywhere in between. This cymbal is almost perfect except it is pretty thin, (I cracked mine after using it for about a year and a half) so for heavy hitters, you might want to look for another crash. Overall though, it's a phenomenal cymbal.
Absolutely perfect! I have a very bright crash, and another with a lot of attack, but no sustain. This is right in the middle....Right when you hit it you get amazing attack, and then (to compliment it) a bright sustain. Couldn't be happier. Buy it!
I love the AAX dark crash. It was a huge upgrade from an 18 inch b8 crash. I hope to get more of the same kind. Sabian rocks!!
