  • AMAZING CYMBALS

As reviewed by Pearl Awsomeness on 5/22/2007

These cymbals are absolutely AMAZING. By far, they are the best cymbals I have played. I accually got a great deal on this at guitar center because someone returned it when it was a promotional offer. I got Medium thin crashes (i got a free 18" too) for $500.

  • Pretty average to me...

As reviewed by Pearl-E-ness on 11/16/2007

At first when I was beginning drumming I thought these were the best cymbals you could get. But I found out after 3 years of drumming that they aren't so great (in my opinion). The hi hats and ride have a high ping to them when you hit them (guessing its the silver) which pisses me off. Also, don't trust videos and sutff of how the cymbals sound. I recorded mine and they sound pretty good RECORDED, not live. Anyways, the 16" crash I have no complaints about, but I think you should go with zildjians or b8s even though they're lower ends.

  • All-American Drummer

Eh, these are pretty good cymbals, though in my opinion...I don't like the ride because I like alot of stick definition and that seems sorta drowned in the ride. I got it for a good price from guitarcenter, but they were used and returned, and I found slight keyholing, which i don't know if it affects the sound. So try to find one with a free 18" with no bag for $500, its worth it.
