Here's a radical new technology in microphones. Not quite, here's a radical OLD technology in microphones. Using a speaker as a low-frequency capture mic is nothing new. The Beatles used this technique as far back as the recordings of "Paperback Writer" and "Rain," but a commercially available product at this price that employs this technique is something new. Available in three different finishes: black, white, and white with a black ring. Select from dropdown menu.

Comments about SOLOMON MiCS LoFreq Sub Mic:
Very affordable, easy to use, hasn't been a problem yet. I am a live sound engineer in a 2000 person hall, it fits very nicely! I had the chance to A/B the LoFrEq against a DW Moon Mic. Solomon Mics LoFrEq had a much bigger hug to the low end, gated nicely, didn't need compression, and made me put my Shure Beta 52 back in the mic box. I pair it with a Shure Beta 91A as a "kick in" which has the high pass rolled up to around 300Hz. This gives me dual control over the low end and the high end.
Yes, I have A/B'd against other microphones as well, Sennheiser 421, EV RE20, Audix D6, Beta 52, AKG D112, Sennheiser 602 and a AKG D12. I would not get rid of any of those mics, I just have a new awesome addition to the family!
This is my new Channel 1!
