Comments about SKB Waterproof Injection Molded 61-Note Keyboard Case:
Several years ago, I bought the 49-key i-series SKB case to protect my Nord Lead 2X during a move. (and it's till being used to transport the keyboard to and from our rehearsal sessions). Now, I have the same type of case, but the 61-key version to hold my Roland VR-09, much for the same reason. I might even order a 2nd case for my master keyboard controller when we move again (a Novation Impulse 61-Key) since I know it will fit.
Bottom line, is it's a light, easily carried/portable, sturdy, and protective hard shell case for your keys. This type of case has survived flights pretty easily. If you want a little extra cushioning, you can always add a little extra foam or towels to protect knobs and keys. It's a good option if you don't want or need to shell out the extra money for a full on ATA style case.
