Smooth gliding from studio to club

Recently purchased the SKB VS1 shelf as a way to incorporate a couple smaller synths I have into a live set, as opposed to simply recording the sounds and playing loops of them in Abelton. The shelf can accomodate my Jomox Xbase 09 and a Dave Smith Evolver for a trip to the gig. Sure, 14" is a little tight when all the cables are plugged in, but if your home studio is anything like mine, tight is the name of the game. The velcro may well be one of the most important features for me. My DSI and Jomox don't so much as move an inch after a trip to the club. No worries of having to dig around the mess of cables in the back of the rack for a fallen synth. Pull the drawer, there they are. Overall, very pleased with this sliding shelf. IF you know SKB, you already know quality. No lost time on this shelf. Slam dunk.
