The SKB SKB-TRPX1 Trap X-1 Case is a top-loader with removable lid and removable tray for storing bass pedal, sticks, and hardware. The tray mounts on top for playing and serves as a monitor stand. The Trap X-1 lid provides plenty of room to store your throne. Built-in industrial 4" wheels provide easy transport. Rear glides offer protection on stairs and tailgates. Interior straps secure gear. The lid handles are also strapping points for securing a cymbal vault on top.

Outstanding case!

In my humble opinion (and I know I'm not alone here), SKB makes the best cases out there. Everything about them-- their construction, straps, clasps, and wheels-- are built to last. The X-1 offers top-notch hardware protection, and is made to take as much punishment as you can dish out. Only one thing to be noted: This is not an ideal case for a Pearl ICON drum rack. The rack bars will only fit in the X-1 diagonally, which makes adding the rest of your hardware a bit tricky. If you own this rack, you're better off going with a smaller hardware case for your cymbal arms and an SKB golf case for the rack itself. (Cost will be about the same.) But if you use a setup of regular cymbal stands, hardware cases don't get any better than this.
