The SKB DJ Capsule is Roto-Molded in the Roto X pattern with a molded-in side handle and durable closure that uses Velcro® to keep it secure. Designed for entry-level DJ equipment, the SKB-82DJ has 8 rackable spaces on top and 2 rackable spaces underneath that make it convenient for loading CDs or gear. A rear access panel permits easy access and storage.

The size of this unit was why I bought it. I hoped to put a power amp on the bottom and DJ mixer and iPod dock on top. Unfortunately, there is very little depth behind the top rack and I had to take out the power amp to be able to fit the mixer and iPod dock on top. I suppose it would work better for a traditional 2 piece DJ CD player + mixer type setup. It also uses non-standard rack screws which I wasn't expecting.
