Gigantic unpadded case

I bought one of these on the suggestion of a salesperson at my local store, and I am disappointed. I have a Mesa Boogie Lonestar Special 2x12, and this behemoth is several inches too big for it on all sides - in fact, it would even be oversize for a Fender Super Reverb 4x10. There is no padding inside the case, you simply have to rely on the strap that accompanies the case to keep your amp from rocking back and forth. As such, I'm not comfortable doing any serious traveling with it. While this does look extremely tough from the outside and seems very well made, the inside gives me pause. This would be perfect for a stationary amp where projectiles or falling objects are an issue, wherever that may be.
